Current fund-raising projects
2Windsor Horse Rangers is a registered charity, a non-profit making organisation and as such we rely on monthly donations to make sure we can pay our bills.
The monthly donations which parents pay only just covers the upkeep of the farm and horses. It pays for the staff who look after the horses Monday to Friday, the vets bills, hay, feed, bedding, insurance costs etc. Anything else which we need e.g. new horses, new buildings, new equipment has to be paid for out of fundraising.

At present we have several projects which we need to raise money for:-
Extra CCTV – we have CCTV over most of the yard so that we can check the horses from home if any are a bit off colour. We built two new stables so need to add additional CCTV to cover the extra area. Cost £5,000. To date we have raised £1000
Splitting field 5 – we have a large field with too much grass in it. Many of our horses have got Cushings which means they are at real risk of developing laminitis if they get too much grass. Laminitis and colic are the two main reasons why we have to put our horses to sleep. We want to put up post and rail fencing and gates and split the large field into 3 so we can make better use of the grazing. Cost £14,500. To date we have raised £1000.

If you have any good quality items which may sell on Vinted then we will be happy to take them and sell them on our Vinted site Windsorrangers
We have an recycling container in our car park where you can recycle wearable clothes, paired shoes, bags and household linen, also soft toys. No ‘rags’ , duvets or pillows please, and please bag up your donations in a plastic bag before putting them in the container.
We have a box where you can donate your empty printer ink cartridges for recycling. We also have a bucket where you can drop off your obsolete currency or un-spent foreign coins and notes.
Throughout the year we help at various events where the organisers give us a contribution for our help e.g. Windsor Lions Club Cross country event. You may also spot us shaking buckets outside local racecourses.
We participate in the Windsor Lions Club Swimathon every October to raise funds through sponsorship.
